Benefits Eligibility and Qualifications

Argosy encourages all employees to personally track and follow up with Human Resources on their eligibility for all benefits. Employees are responsible for completing all necessary applications and meeting all deadlines for enrollment. Employees are responsible for reporting any changes that may affect coverage and eligibility to Human Resources. Human Resources will assist you with any inquires, questions and needed information. Qualifications:

  • Hourly: Upon achieving 1500 hours from date of hire and maintaining 1500 hours in any 12 month rolling period. If an employee falls below 1500 hours, there is a grace period of 60 days to bring their hours above 1500 if the employee remains active on the payroll and is on an on-call status for scheduling purposes.
  • Captains: Upon achieving 1300 hours from date of hire and maintaining 1300 hours in any 12 month rolling period. If an employee falls below 1300 hours, there is a grace period of 60 days to bring their hours above 1300 if the employee remains active on the payroll and is on an on-call status for scheduling purposes.
  • Hourly, Level 1 Key Employee- Head cook, Marketing Assistant, HR Assistant, Guest Services Leads: 90 days after date of hire and to maintain 1500 hours in any 12 month rolling period after their anniversary hire date. Same grace period as hourly.
  • Salary and Full Time Maintenance Staff: 90 days after date of hire, 1st of the month following the 90 days.
